This year's Howie Award was given to actor [[Christopher Heyerdahl] for his outstanding performance in Out of Mind: The Stories of H.P. Lovecraft.
The Brown Jenkin Awards is new this year and was awarded to filmmakers based on informal audience feedback and an informal film jury (consisting of director Stuart Gordon, musician Patti Smith, actor Christopher Heyerdahl, screenwriter Joseph Dougherty, reporter John Chandler Portland Monthly, and Festival director Andrew Migliore).
The winners include:
- Director Stuart Gordon for Dreams in the Witch House (the inspiration for the award)
- Call of Cthulhu Audience Best of Show, Jury Best of Show
- Late Bloomer Best Comedy
- Experiment 17 Audience Pick (and Best Looking Nazi)
- The Gibbering Horror of Howard Ghormely Jury Pick
